What, eaten by Charr?

Gaile said that recently that Anet hadn't realized the player base was so attached to the Scribe, and so had plans to bring him back. Not sure what happened to the survivor.

Did the same thing happen to the Guild Wars newsletter? I signed up one or two months ago, and didn't get a single message. That may be some fault of my own, though.

They think a dervish with 10 points in earth prayers should have HB?

Do the people at Anet even play GW?

In the "Ultimate Guild Wars Guide" it was recommended I give Jora Hundred Blades, Healing Breeze, and Orison o' Healing.

Yeah.

Choosing Monk as the secondary profession for Koss enhances his survivability.

Koss, Warrior/Monk lvl 20

Swordsmanship 12

Combining the Warrior's armour with the Monk's defensive spells, the "Whammo" is one of the most popular builds in the game. Koss should repeatedly use Sever Artery and Gash to inflict Bleeding and Deep Wound Conditions, while "Watch Yourself!" improves the armour for everyone on your team in earshot, and Healing Breeze and Orison of Healing keep everyone healthy. Should a Hero fall in battle, Koss can rez them with Resurrect. His heavy armour and high Health makes it easier for him to endure the spell's long casting time. Finally, he can use Mend Ailment to aid allies with Condition removal
Wow gg koss rezzing while tanking, and mend ailment for allies?

Seriously does the person who wrote this actually play gw at all? And while on the subject, people complain that while pugging they meet people with horrible builds. GG setting an example here putting a build together with orison of healing and healing breaze. FAIL

Edit:

Ohhh lookie here

Yeah I was thinking the builds were bad but then again it mentions they are made for people who just start the game with nightfall(who don't have many skills unlocked yet, heck the koss uses most of the skills he comes with).

Might be true but Healsignet > Healing Breeze. Everything > Healing breeze. Healing breeze is only usefull for 55. And even when 55 mystic regen > healing breeze.

Heh, the advice to just make everyone /R for lotsa pets is fun. Ok, most of my chars run that for pet, but a pet on a monk is a bit questionable

*ahem*

Back to the original subject... I believe there will be a new edition of the Guild Wars newsletter around the middle of this month. We've sent out two or three, as I recall, and yes, one was sent out prior to the release of GW:EN -- dated 31 August, actually -- so I'm sorry that you missed that one, OP.

BTW, the newsletters are an email, not a website publication.

If your account is tied to PlayNC, you are on the mailing list for the newsletter. I believe that there was an option to sign up for the newsletter, as well. I will ask our Web Team if they can re-enable that sign-up option, so that those who want to receive the newsletter can do so.

yes, the scribe and insider suffer from the same malady as does play testing and adding features: a lack of budget, time, and quality personnel

Actually, no. I've heard from AJ on the Web and Graphic Design team, and he informs me that we did just one "Insider." That is the issue linked in the first post in this thread. Since then, we've been sending emailed newsletters. Unless there was some sort of error, in which case I'd appreciate a forward of that email, the most most recent newsletter, dated 31 August, has this as the subject line: Guild Wars: Eye of the North is live! (That's a cut and paste.)
